WILD MUSHROOM FORAYS
This hands on experience is only available for small groups of up to 8 people.
Kindly note that this course is offered year around, but that mushroom season in Sonoma County is November through March.
Our guided mushroom walks are on the Sonoma Coast about 2.5 hours north of San Francisco. Our classes offer both beginner level, to a more advanced and targeted area of interest. We will teach you how to sustainably harvest and confidently identify edible and poisonous mushrooms. If desired, feel free to ask about our techniques on how to best prepare wild mushrooms for culinary purposes, or perhaps a favorite recipe or two.
